Haynes currently have an opportunity for a Manager or Assistant Manager to join our valued client based in Mackay, 4740.

Role on Offer:

  • Ongoing – Direct to Permanent
  • 10-day fortnight (every 2nd weekend off)
  • 1pm – 9/10pm
  • Flexible locations across Andergrove, Mt Pleasant, Parkside Plaza and Rural View

Your duties will include:

  • Overseeing a team within a fast-paced kitchen
  • Ensuring Food Safety standards and general workplace health & safety policies and procedures are being adhered to
  • Cash and EFT reconciliation
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve feedback/complaints in a professional manner
  • Training & coaching team members, as necessary
  • Inventory management

The successful candidate will require:

  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Able to work under pressure and problem solve on-the-go
  • Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and nights
  • Experience in hospitality is ideal, but not essential (on-job training will be provided)
