Auto Electrician

HAYNES is seeking a trade-qualified and reliable Auto Electrician to join one of our valued clients in Brisbane. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a diverse range of lifting, loading, and handling equipment used across the transport, construction, marine, and mining sectors.

Position Details:

• Monday to Friday roster
• Permanent opportunity
• 7:00am to 3:00pm daily
• Overtime available daily and on weekends
• $56.93 per hour plus penalties
• Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and or modification of wiring circuits for new and or used equipment installations.
• Fault finding and repair of electrical issues on new or used equipment
• Assisting the workshop technicians with installations of new or used equipment
• Prompt and accurate completion of all documentation (internal and external)
• Update customers on progress and or difficulties associated with electrical installation issues
• Installation of ancillary equipment such as PTO and Pump wiring, hydro tarps, cameras, led lighting and any other low voltage equipment specified by the customer.
• Participate in 10yr VLC rebuilds

The successful candidate, must have:

• Relevant Trade qualification - Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent
• Current drivers licence and reliable transport
• MR or HR Truck Licence preferable
• Prior experience working in manufacturing of transport equipment including trailers and/or in the truck industry or similar
• Experience with cranes and/or hookloaders - advantageous
• Able to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals as well as design and installation of new circuits.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal at various levels of an organization
• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to pass pre-employment including Drug/Alcohol screen
