Final Trim Excavator Operator, Grader Operator & Labourer

Haynes are currently seeking interest for Operators & Laboures for our clients located in Mission Beach.

Positions Available:

1. Excavator Operator (Final Trim)
2. General Civil Construction Laborers
3. Machinery Operators

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate various machinery, including GPS/Topcon for precise grading and contouring
• Follow instructions from the supervisor and work autonomously when required
• Maintain high attention to detail to ensure specifications and safety standards are met
• Contribute to site safety practices and use tools as required
• Complete daily per-start checks to ensure machinery and tools are ready for operation
• Labour duties as required on site

Skills and Experience:

• Civil construction experience is essential
• Ability to meet tolerance levels and precise specifications
• Experience in using GPS/Topcon equipment
• Strong focus on safety and site protocols
• Ability to work unsupervised and follow supervisor instructions
• Must hold the relevant RII tickets
• Must be able to pass a PEM & DAS (Pre-Employment Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screen)
• Ability to work in hot and humid conditions
• White card and valid driver’s license are mandatory
• HR driver’s license is advantageous

Position Details:

• Location: Mission Beach area
• Roster: Monday to Friday (with some Saturday shifts if required)
• Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM | 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
