Haynes is currently seeking a Truck Driver for a valued client based in Townsville for an as soon as possible start!

About the Job:

• Operate a Mix of Equipment: Kenworth, Isuzu, CAT - Semi Crane trucks, B-Doubles, Road Trains, Front End Loader, Forklifts, Extendable trailers.
• Diverse Projects: Construction Projects, Energy Projects, Government Projects.
• Customers: Long Term Contracts with ARC, Energy Queensland, BlueScope Lysaght & BlueScope Distribution.
• Travel to Exciting Locations: Work locally or head out to spots like Weipa, MT ISA, Cape Tribulation, Tully, Cairns, Maggie Island, and beyond!

Requirements

• HR, HC or MC truck driving licence
• CV Crane Ticket (preferred, but not essential)
• Riggers or Dogman – Advantageous
• Forklift Driving license
• White Card
• Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol Test.
• Demonstrated truck driver experience with a safe driving record is essential

Responsibilities:

• Transport products and materials
• Provide excellence in customer service and professionalism, working with the client to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
• Inspect vehicles daily and report all mechanical faults and safety issues
• Load and unload products onto and off vehicles
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles to a high standard
• Operate in line with road safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedure
