About the Opportunity

Haynes People is currently seeking an experienced Injury Management Advisor to join our valued client in Archerfield, Brisbane.

• Competitive rate of $50 - $55 per hour
• Monday to Friday roster, 38 hours per week (8:00am - 4:00pm)
• Expected length of assignment is approximately 3 months

What You’ll be Doing

• Manage workplace injury and illness cases from notification through to successful return-to-work outcomes.
• Coordinate rehabilitation plans, workplace assessments, case conferences and return-to-work programs.
• Liaise with employees, supervisors, treating practitioners, insurers and external stakeholders.
• Provide advice and coaching to leaders regarding injury management processes and legislative requirements.
• Monitor claims performance, identify trends and recommend improvement opportunities.
• Support workers compensation, income protection and rehabilitation case management activities.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting within injury management systems.
• Contribute to health, wellbeing and injury prevention initiatives across the business.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Qualifications as a Registered Nurse, Rehabilitation Consultant, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, or other allied health discipline.
• Return-to-Work Coordinator and/or workplace rehabilitation experience.
• Strong knowledge of workers compensation legislation, injury management, and rehabilitation practices.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex injury and return-to-work cases.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
