HAYNES is seeking an experienced and trade-qualified Boilermaker to join our client's team in Archerfield QLD. In this role, you will be responsible for structural repairs, and rebuild work on mining and earthmoving equipment to meet high safety and quality standards.

What's on offer:

• Monday to Friday roster
• Day shift only
• Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm (Mon-Thurs) & 6:00am - 12:00pm (Fri)
• $55 per hour + penalties
• Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform heavy fabrication, structural repairs, and component rebuilds on mining and earthmoving equipment.
• Install, fit, and weld wear plates within dump truck bodies and other heavy equipment components.
• Complete chassis repairs, crack repairs, and structural modifications on a variety of heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Undertake extensive welding activities on large-scale mining, construction, and earthmoving machinery.
• Read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings, repair procedures, specifications, and work instructions.
• Conduct quality inspections of completed welds and repairs to ensure compliance with company, customer, and workshop standards.

What we're looking for:

• Trade Qualified - Certificate III in Engineering (Boiler making or Metal Fabrication)
• Forklift, Working at Heights, EWP or other relevant licences highly regarded
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Proven experience in structural steel fabrication and welding
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Able to pass pre-employment medical including Drug & Alcohol screen or National Police Check.
