HSE Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSE Coordinator to join our Brisbane team. This role plays a key part in supporting the delivery of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) systems across the business.

Working closely with our HSE Advisors and HST Manager, you’ll provide critical coordination, reporting and administrative support while gaining hands-on exposure to operational safety activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and coordination support to the HSE function
• Prepare reports, documentation, meeting minutes and audit materials
• Maintain HSE systems, databases and document control processes
• Support incident investigations, reporting and documentation
• Assist with workers' compensation and return-to-work coordination
• Track and manage training, compliance and HSE actions
• Coordinate inductions and site familiarisations
• Assist with safety campaigns, communications and initiatives
• Support HSET reporting (daily, weekly and monthly)
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities across HSE systems

To be successful, you will have:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative or coordination role
• Strong computer and systems skills
• High attention to detail with excellent organisational ability
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A professional, discreet approach to handling confidential information
• Exposure to HSE systems or workers’ compensation processes
