Grader Operator

What's On Offer

• Hourly rate: $55- $65 (dependent on experience)
• Roster: 3 weeks on / 1 week off
• Hours: 6:00am - 6:00pm
• Project Duration: Approx. 4- 6 months
• Camp accommodation provided
• Meal Allowance

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the grader to shape and level road surfaces, including subgrade and base, to the required design.
• Trim to final levels, making sure drainage, camber, and finish are spot on.
• Read plans, string lines, or work with GPS systems to get the correct heights and alignment.
• Carry out daily machine checks and keep the grader running safely and efficiently.
• Work closely with rollers, water carts, and supervisors to keep the job flowing.
• Stay aware of surroundings — it’s a high-skill role working around other plant and tight tolerances.

• Proven experience operating relevant machinery
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Ability to commit to roster and project duration
• Reliable, self-motivated, and ready to start
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks (medical & drug/alcohol screening if required)
