Who We Are

At Sime Industrial Services (including HMG, Austchrome, Pakka Jacks and Haynes People), we are looking for personable, proactive Human Resources Advisor to join our People and Culture team in Brisbane.

What You’ll Do

You will be the “go-to” for our Brisbane and CQ teams, ensuring they have the support they need to success.

• Deliver employee-centred advice across ER, engagement and performance
• Support Internal recruitment and help implement talent management strategies.
• Collaborate with the Human Resources Manager to refine policies and modernise HR workflows
• Keep our records sharp and our processes compliant with current legislation
• Work across support functions (including Finance, Payroll, HSE) to ensure a seamless employee experience.

What we are looking for

• A personable professional with 3+ years of Human Resources experience
• Someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves a challenge
• Proficiency in HRIS System (Workday Advantageous)
• Strong communicator who can build relationships with everyone from the workshop floor to the various stakeholders across the Company.
• Comprehensive understanding of HR practices and legislation, including the Fair Work Act, NES, and Modern Awards.
• Capable of working independently and managing priorities effectively.
• Maintains a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
