Hydraulic Fitter

Based in our Paget workshop, the Hydraulic Fitter will be responsible for:

• Disassembly, inspection, and assembly of hydraulic cylinders and engineering components
• Precision measurement using specialised tooling
• Basic failure analysis and NDT crack testing of components
• Hydraulic testing of cylinders
• Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings
• Operating hydraulic machinery and testing equipment
• Maintaining a consistently high standard of safety and compliance with work instructions

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Relevant trade qualifications
• Proven experience with hydraulic cylinders and related components
• The ability to strip, measure, inspect, assemble, and test hydraulic cylinder components
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work to fine tolerances
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• A strong commitment to safety and the wellbeing of yourself and your teammates
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and support apprentice development
• The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test
