Shutdown Storeperson

We are seeking Storepeople to support an upcoming major shutdown at QGC Curtis Island (off Gladstone) this May–June. This role is ideal for local candidates who are looking for shutdown work with great conditions. Positions are available across Day Shift and Night Shift.

About the Role:

As a Shutdown Storeperson, you will support toolstore and equipment logistics during a busy maintenance period. You’ll play an essential role in keeping shutdown crews equipped, organised and productive.

What’s on offer:

• Location: QGC Curtis Island (daily ferry - no accommodation provided)
• Shutdown dates: 16 May 2026 – 6 June 2026
• Roster: 13/1
• Hours: 12.5 hour shifts (Day shift starts 6am, night shift starts 6pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day operations of the shutdown toolstore
• Issue and receive tools, equipment, and consumables
• Conduct equipment checks prior to issue and on return
• Support stock control, inventory management, and equipment tracking
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient toolstore environment

Skills & Experience:

• Previous TA, stores, or toolstore experience preferred
• Experience supporting shutdowns or equipment logistics highly regarded
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work long shifts in a fast-paced environment

This role is suited to candiates based in Gladstone, Calliope, or Tannum Sands due to the daily travel requirements.
