The Role

This is a permanent position based at our Pinkenba workshop in Brisbane’s industrial hub. You’ll work across a range of manual and automated heavy engineering machinery, taking ownership of maintenance, breakdown response and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical faults
  • Perform preventative maintenance on manual & CNC machinery
  • Installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Upgrade and improve existing systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Conduct detailed inspections and audits to manufacturer standards
  • Support production reliability and minimise downtime

This is hands-on industrial maintenance, not domestic or light commercial work.

What We’re Looking For

You’re a trade-qualified Electrical Fitter and/or Electrical Mechanic who:

  • Holds a current Electrical Licence
  • Has experience maintaining industrial machinery
  • Is confident in fault-finding and diagnostics
  • Understands AS3000 and electrical compliance requirements
  • Is safety-focused and detail-oriented

Highly regarded experience includes:

  • CNC systems (Fanuc, Okuma, Fagor)
  • Electroplating DC rectifiers
  • VSDs, PLCs, machine safety and industrial networks
  • Working at heights & EWP (or willingness to obtain)
