Sourcing & Fulfilment Lead

Your New Role

We are seeking a Sourcing and Fulfilment Lead to join our team at Decoda. Reporting to the Executive General Manager, this role is central to enabling Decoda’s growth ambitions over the next five years. You will oversee the end to end lifecycle of sourcing, vendor management, inventory, and warranty operations for Decoda’s technology solutions.

Decoda is entering a growth phase with the signing of two strategic ‘reseller’ partnerships that will cover much of the mining industry worldwide. Decoda’s focus is helping mining customers make their mine sites more productive.



What You’ll Do

Strategic Sourcing

• Identify the most suitable suppliers for Decoda’s technology solutions.
• Align vendor location strategies with Decoda’s geographic growth plans.
• Apply a structured risk management approach to vendor selection.
• Negotiate contracts that deliver cost effective outcomes.

Vendor Management & Procurement

• Develop proactive working relationships with vendors.
• Establish and oversee a vendor performance management framework.
• Place Just In Time (JIT) orders in accordance with demand forecasts.
• Anticipate and mitigate bottlenecks in meeting demand forecasts.
• Review vendor invoices for accuracy and arrange timely payment.

Inventory Management

• Lead the implementation of the D365 inventory management system/module for Decoda.
• Create a scalable parts and component numbering system.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels aligned with demand forecasts.
• Track all incoming and outgoing orders.
• Manage pick, pack, quality assurance and dispatch activities.
• Provide routine updates to the Leadership Team fulfilment status.

Warranty Management

• Design and implement Decoda’s warranty policy and supporting processes.
• Manage the end to end warranty process.

About You

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or Finance.
• 4 plus years’ experience in procurement, purchasing, or indirect spend management, ideally in an industrial environment.
• Strong relationship building and cross functional collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and an ability to work autonomously.
• Membership in relevant industry networks (desirable).
• Experience implementing inventory systems (D365 desirable).
