Haynes is seeking an experienced Admin/Accounts Officer to join a growing team in Mackay.

What’s on offer:

  • Location: Slade Point, QLD
  • Roster: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm | Early finishes on a Friday.
  • PayRate: from $40.00 p/hr pending experience
  • Start ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls and directing to correct contact
  • Keeping common areas clean, organised and well presented
  • Managing office supplies, filing and recordkeeping
  • Assist with onboarding, prepare induction materials, organise meetings and training sessions
  • Maintaining confidentiality of financial records, Liase with supplied for invoice queries
  • Raising purchase orders, delivery dockets and invoices
  • Maintaining supplier accounts and reconciling statements, monitoring due dates to ensure timely payments
  • Performing daily/weekly bank reconciliations, Reconciling credit card transactions and statements, Managing petty cash and reimbursement claims
  • Assisting with BAS, GST, PAYG and compliance tasks & maintaining accurate records for auditing

What we are looking for:

  • Current Open Class QLD Drivers Licence
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites
  • Proficient with XERO/SimPRO
  • Familiarity with Australian Compliance processes
  • Strong Administration & Account Skills
