Refrigeration Mechanic

Are you an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic looking for a 7:7 DIDO Roster? Look no further, Apply below.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Install, maintain, fault-find and repair commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning systems across accommodation villages and facilities.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and compliance inspections to ensure equipment reliability and minimise unplanned downtime.
• Respond to breakdowns and reactive maintenance requests in a timely manner, including after-hours callouts as required.
• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with Australian Standards, WHS requirements, environmental regulations and policies.
• Accurately complete maintenance records, service reports and compliance documentation using maintenance management systems.
• Liaise professionally with site management, contractors and residents to deliver high-quality customer service in a remote work environment.

To be successful, you will have:

• Trade qualified Refrigeration Mechanic
• Grade 10 standard of education with ability to read, write and perform numerical calculations commensurate with the duties of the position
• Refrigerant handling license
• Restricted electrical work license – restricted to refrigeration/air conditioner installation
• Class C Manual Drivers licence

Advantageous:

• At least five years’ experience of similar work, preferably in the service industry/hospitality/high volume hotel-style services over multiple sites.
• At least two years’ experience in cold room maintenance and repair work.
