CCTV Operator

Haynes are seeking experienced CCTV Locator Operators to join an ever-growing team in Mackay. We are looking for someone who has experience operating advanced inspection and locating equipment to support safe excavation and asset management across sewer, stormwater and drainage systems.

What’s on offer:

• Location: Depot in Paget, Mackay QLD
• Roster: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Flexible hours and overtime available
• PayRate: $40.00/hr + penalties
• Type: Casual (Temp to Perm)
• ASAP start!

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CCTV inspection equipment to assess underground sewer, stormwater and drainage assets
• Conduct service locating using EM locators and GPR to identify underground utilities
• Accurately mark and record locations of services on site
• Complete CCTV reports, footage uploads and asset condition assessments
• Work closely with hydro-excavation and civil crews to support safe excavation works
• Interpret plans, drawings and Dial Before You Dig (DBYD) information
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental and site-specific safety requirements
• Perform routine equipment checks, maintenance and troubleshooting
• Liaise professionally with clients, supervisors and site stakeholders

What we are looking for:

• Current Drivers Licence – HR/MR Advantageous
• White Card
• Physically fit and able to pass a Drug & Alcohol screen
• Plant operator tickets (Excavator, Roller, Loader, Moxy, Grader) – Advantageous
