Multi-Ticket Operator

Are you a skilled Civil Operator ready to take on exciting site work across Mackay and beyond? At Haynes we’re looking for a reliable, safety-focused team player to join our growing crew!

What’s on offer:

• Location: Depot in Paget, Mackay QLD.
• Roster: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Flexible hours and overtime available
• Pay Rate: $40.00/hr + penalties
• Type: Casual (Temp to Perm)
• ASAP start!

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate civil construction machinery such as excavators, loaders & rollers in accordance with site requirements and training.
• Perform daily pre-start checks, routine maintenance, and cleaning of plant and equipment.
• Read and interpret site plans, levels, and job specifications.
• Work collaboratively with site teams to achieve daily production and safety targets.
• Assist with site setup, trenching, backfilling, compaction, and material movement.
• Ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety (WHS) and environmental management procedures.
• Report any hazards, incidents, or maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain clear and respectful communication with supervisors, clients, and other contractors.

What we’re looking for:

• Current HR Driver’s Licence
• White Card
• Physically fit and able to pass a Drug & Alcohol screen
• Plant operator tickets (Excavator, Roller, Loader, Moxy, Grader) – Advantageous
