About the Role:

• Day or Afternoon Shift Available
• $47.67 - 49.83 per hour
• Afternoon Shift 24% shift loading, starting at 2:30pm
• Based in Paget, Mackay (Commercial Ave)

Responsibilities:

As a Boilermaker at Austchrome, you’ll be involved in fabrication, manufacturing and reclamation of hydraulic components using:

• Automated welding steppers, booms, rotators and ID welders
• Welding with MIG, FCAW, TIG and Sub arc. Welds are required to pass MPI and UT testing
• Fabrication and manufacturing is done in collaboration with machinists, steel is machined to size and cleaned for assembly and welding.
• Collaborating in a team environment with experienced tradespeople across fabrication, machining, and plating
• Take responsibility for maintaining and improving a safe working environment and following all policies, procedures and safe work instructions.

About You

You’ll ideally bring:

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker
• Able to weld to pass MPI and UT testing
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• A safety-first mindset
• A willingness to learn, contribute, and be part of a tight-knit team
