CCTV Locator Operator

Haynes are seeking experienced CCTV Locator Operators to join our valued client in Rockhampton. This role involves operating advanced inspection and locating equipment to support safe excavation and asset management across sewer, stormwater and drainage networks.

What’s on offer:

• Location: Depot in Parkhurst, Rockhampton QLD
• Roster: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Flexible hours and overtime available
• Pay Rate: $40.00/hr + penalties
• Type: Casual (Temp to Perm)
• ASAP start!

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CCTV inspection equipment to assess underground assets
• Conduct service locating using EM locators and GPR
• Accurately mark and record underground services on site
• Complete CCTV reports, upload footage, and assess asset conditions
• Collaborate with hydro-excavation and civil crews for safe works
• Interpret plans, drawings, and DBYD information
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, and site safety standards
• Perform routine equipment checks and troubleshooting
• Liaise professionally with clients and site stakeholders

What we’re looking for:

• Current Driver’s Licence
• Previous experience as a CCTV Locator Operator or similar
• White Card
• Physically fit and able to pass a Drug & Alcohol screen

Advantageous:

• Plant operator tickets (Excavator, Roller, Loader, Moxy, Grader)
• HR or MR licence
