We are seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to join a busy operations team in Bohle, Townsville. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating day-to-day production activities.

What’s on offer:

  • Location: Bohle, Townsville
  • Roster: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 5:45am – 2:15pm
  • Pay Rate: $47 per hour
  • Additional Hours: Overtime available during peak periods
  • Type: Casual with potential to transition to permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organise and coordinate daily warehouse and production operations.
  • Supervise operational staff across day and night shifts, including casual workers.
  • Support onboarding, training and ongoing skills development for team members.
  • Assist with scheduling maintenance to minimise downtime.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency.
  • Assist with leading WHSE compliance and training.
  • Manage site operations in the absence of the Operations Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Oversee logistics: check orders, manage stock movements and supervise contractors during product receipts and discharges.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding orders, delays and feedback.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.

What we’re looking for:

  • Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
  • Previous experience in production coordination, warehouse or bulk handling industries.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to operate and manage mobile equipment (e.g., forklift, loader) is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
  • Physically fit and able to pass a Drug & Alcohol screen.
