Cleaner

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Cleaners to join a team at a secure facility in Townsville. This is a casual position with the potential to transition into full-time employment at the end of the contract (January 2026).

You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across amenities and communal areas. The role requires independence, initiative and a strong work ethic.

Role details:

• Location: Garbutt, Townsville
• Pay rate: $38.30/hr on Weekdays and $57.20/hr on Weekends
• Roster: Monday – Friday + occasional weekends
• Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm
• Type: Casual (with potential for full time)

What you’ll be doing:

• Cleaning showers, toilets and washrooms
• Removing rubbish and maintaining hygiene standards
• Working independently with minimal supervision
• Ensuring attention to detail in all tasks

What we’re looking for:

• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Current Police Clearance or willingness to obtain
• Previous cleaning experience (essential)
