Maintenance Fitter

Haynes is seeking experienced Maintenance Tradesperson/Technician to join our valued client based in Brisbane in Pinkenba. Temp to perm role. This role would suit a Fitter, Turner, Boilermaker, or Electrician who enjoys practical maintenance work and can confidently coordinate service technicians or support operators with maintenance tasks.

Position Details

• Monday to Friday (Be home every night)

Key Responsibilities include

• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Support and coordinate service technicians or contractors as required.
• Identify and resolve maintenance issues to ensure reliability and uptime.
• Assist in planning and scheduling maintenance activities.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company WHSE and quality standards.
• Provide guidance and basic training to operators on minor maintenance tasks.
• Participate in continuous improvement and plant optimisation activities.
• Support plant operations and dispatch activities as required.

The successful applicant must have

• Current Drivers’ Licence and Reliable Transport
• Trade qualification in Mechanical (Fitter, Turner, Boilermaker) or Electrical discipline
• Solid hands-on maintenance experience in industrial, manufacturing, or bulk-handling environments
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A preventative maintenance mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
• Able to work both independently and as part of a small, dedicated team
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
