Civil Labourer

We want you:

Haynes is currently seeking Civil Labourers to join our client’s team on a solar farm project based in Merriwa, NSW. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the renewable energy sector and contribute to a large-scale solar installation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general labouring duties including manual handling and site cleanup
• Unload, distribute, and position solar panels and racking components
• Assist with installation of solar mounting systems and module placement
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Support equipment operators and electrical teams
• Follow all safety procedures and site rules
• Report hazards, near misses, and incidents
• Participate in pre-start meetings and toolbox talks

To be successful, you will have:

• White Card – Mandatory
• Driver’s Licence and reliable transport – Mandatory
• Previous experience in civil, construction, or renewable energy projects (desirable)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor conditions
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Tickets such as forklift, EWP, or telehandler (advantageous but not essential)
