Civil Project Manager

Are you an experienced Civil Project Manager with a solid background in civil mine site infrastructure? Ready to step into a leadership role where your expertise drives meaningful outcomes in a technically challenging and rewarding environment?

We are currently seeking a highly capable and motivated Project Manager to oversee our tailings dam lift works situated in North West Queensland. You’ll play a vital role in delivering civil infrastructure projects to the highest standards – with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of tailings dam lift and other site related projects
• Manage on-site teams, supervisors, engineers and subcontractors, and civil crews to ensure project milestones are met
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and quality controls
• Liaise with stakeholders including clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety and environmental standards

About You:

• Proven experience managing civil projects within the mining/resources industry
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with tailings dam construction/lifts
• Familiarity with metalliferous mining operations, ideally in Queensland
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Relevant engineering or project management qualifications
