The Opportunity
We’re currently seeking a dedicated Trades Assistant to join our team. This hands-on role involves supporting our tradespeople in the workshop and contributing to a range of essential tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the assembly and disassembly of hydraulic cylinders and mechanical components
- Operation of chrome stripping and chroming tanks
- Chrome and HVOF polishing processes
- Operation of HVOF and ARC spray rooms
- Perform painting and sandblasting tasks
- Perform general logistic and warehouse duties
- Clean, flush, dress, and polish parts
- Carry out measurement and quality checks on components
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
- Learn and operate workshop machinery and tooling as required
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience as a Trades Assistant or labourer in a workshop or industrial setting
- A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
- A commitment to safety and the ability to follow clear instructions
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
