The Opportunity
We’re currently seeking a dedicated Trades Assistant to join our team. This hands-on role involves supporting our tradespeople in the workshop and contributing to a range of essential tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the assembly and disassembly of hydraulic cylinders and mechanical components
• Operation of chrome stripping and chroming tanks
• Chrome and HVOF polishing processes
• Operation of HVOF and ARC spray rooms
• Perform painting and sandblasting tasks
• Perform general logistic and warehouse duties
• Clean, flush, dress, and polish parts
• Carry out measurement and quality checks on components
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
• Learn and operate workshop machinery and tooling as required

About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience as a Trades Assistant or labourer in a workshop or industrial setting
• A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills
• A commitment to safety and the ability to follow clear instructions
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
