Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Safety Administrator to join the team on a temporary assignment. This role is perfect for someone with a strong administration background and a passion for supporting safety and sustainability functions.

Role Details:

  • Location: Archerfield, QLD
  • Duration: 8–12 weeks
  • Roster: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm
  • Rate: $45.83/hr + penalties

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and maintain ISO-certified management systems:
    • ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
    • ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems
    • ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
  • Manage safety systems to ensure functionality and compliance
  • Support SHEQ objectives through data analysis, performance measurement, and reporting
  • Prepare high-level SHEQ performance reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Collate and deliver monthly scorecards for Safety and Sustainability teams
  • Facilitate incident reporting and investigation processes, including safety and health bulletins
  • Provide administrative support to the Manager – Safety SEQ and Regional teams
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and assist with document control and systems management

About You:

Essential:

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar position delivering outstanding results (Quality Assurance Function, Systems Maintenance)
  • Qualifications in Document Control Systems, Office Management or related
  • Previous experience coordinating document and records management processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test

Desirable:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or working towards
  • Knowledge or understanding of principles of ISO 45001:2018 Occupational health and safety management systems
  • Experience with databases such as Lotus Notes or Access
  • Experience in mining/heavy equipment industries and understanding of regulatory requirements
