Spray Painter

Haynes are currently seeking motivated and experienced Spray Painters to join our dynamic team. Work with a well-known and respected industry leader, delivering high-quality work on heavy equipment and components.

What’s on offer

• Monday to Friday roster
• Overtime offered when available
• Afternoon shift - 2pm to 10pm (daily)
• $66.14 per hour plus penalties
• Casual ongoing position
• Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of surfaces through sanding, masking, and priming
• Mixing and applying a range of coatings including primers, base coats, and clear coats
• Quality checking all finished work to meet company and client standards
• Performing touch ups, warranty work and full machine sprays on heavy earthmoving equipment.
• Maintaining clean and organised workspaces
• Following all WHS procedures and safe work practices

About You

• Current drivers' licence and reliable transport
• Relevant trade qualification in Automotive Refinishing Technology
• Proven experience as a Spray Painter (automotive, industrial, or heavy equipment)
• High-Risk Work Licences - Forklift, Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platform (highly regarded)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good knowledge of paints, coatings, and application techniques
• Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude
• Be able to pass pre-employment medical including Drug/Alcohol screen
