CNC & Manual Machinists

Are you a skilled Machinist looking for your next opportunity? Haynes are currently seeking experienced CNC and Manual Machinists to join our dynamic and growing team. Whether you specialise in precision CNC operations or have a strong background in manual machining, we want to hear from you!

Position Details:

• Monday to Friday roster
• Overtime available on weekends
• 6:30am to 2:36pm daily
• Casual ongoing opportunity (Temp to Perm)
• $53.12 per hour plus penalties
• Available for immediate start

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating CNC lathes, mills, or manual machines to manufacture parts to specifications
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job sheets
• Performing quality checks using measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges)
• Routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Working safely and efficiently within a workshop environment
• Maintain strict quality control standards
• Troubleshoot and adjust programs to optimise performance
• Produce high-quality work within appropriate timeframes
• Contribute to a safe work environment following company policies and procedures.

What We're Looking For:

• Trade qualification in Machining or relevant qualification
• Current drivers' licence and reliable transport
• Proven manual machining and/or CNC expeirence (Fanuc/Mazak/Heidenhain)
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Able to read and interpret drawings and measurements accurately
• Strong knowledge of machining practices and safety standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical including Drug/Alcohol screen.
