Haynes is seeking a motivated and confident Workshop Manager to oversee daily operations, manage a team of technicians, and ensure high-quality service delivery for our valued client. If you’re a hands-on leader with a strong mechanical background and a passion for driving performance, we want to hear from you!

Position Details

  • Permant position
  • Monday to Friday
  • 38hours per week
  • Competetive salary

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day operations of the mechanical division
  • Leading and supervising a team of mechanics, auto electricians, and support staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Handling customer inquiries and complaints, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Overseeing the procurement and inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring availability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensuring all operations comply with industry regulations and safety standards
  • Maintaining the status of authorised Compliance Inspection Station for mining vehicles.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve service offerings.

The successful applicant must have

  • Trade quilification - Mechanical
  • Supervisor/management experience
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Team collaboration skills to support team and new employees
  • Safety-conscious with great attention to detail
  • Computer literate
