Trades Assistant

Haynes is seeking an experienced Trade Assistant to join our valued client based in Mackay for a duration of 4 weeks with potential for ongoing.

Position Details

• Monday to Friday
• 7am to 4pm
• $35 per Hour Flat rate
• No experience necessary
• Excellent working conditions

Key Responsibilities include

• General labourering and assisting in hose assembly, ad-hoc duties as requested
• Cleaning components
• Support tradespeople with general workshop tasks
• Perform basic testing and quality checks
• Organize and label parts and inventory

The successful applicant must have

• Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Punctual, reliable, and physically fit
• Previous experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment is a plus, but not essential
• Prior Hose assembly experience highly regarded
