Haynes is currently recruiting qualified and experienced Carpenters for multiple clients in Townsville, QLD.

• Install, adjust, and repair wooden frameworks across construction sites
• Read and interpret plans and complete jobs to spec
• Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Work independently and unsupervised when required

Requirements:

• Trade Qualification in Carpentry
• Construction White Card
• Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
• Experience hanging doors and working across civil/building construction projects
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual duties
• Able to pass PEM & DAS if required

Position 2: Playground & Landscape Carpentry

Playground/Outdoor Space Construction

Key Duties:

• Construct and erect timber playground structures at childcare centres
• Perform general carpentry and adhoc trade tasks
• Landscape construction experience highly desirable but not essential
• Work on various projects across childcare and outdoor education environments

Essential Requirements:

• Trade Qualification in Carpentry
• Construction White Card
• C-Class Driver's Licence
• Working with Children Blue Card (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• National Police Check if no Blue Card is held
• Physically fit and able to pass a PEM & DAS if required
