Workshop Supervisor

Haynes is seeking a mechanically minded Workshop Supervisor to join one of our clients in the Mackay region.

This is a permanent, full-time role with clear progression opportunities toward Branch Management.

About the Company:

What’s on Offer:

• Competitive salary of $80,000 – $90,000 + super (depending on experience)
• Monday to Friday roster with occasional weekend work
• Workshop-based with local client visits as required

Position Overview:

• Manage daily workshop operations and supervise a small team
• Diagnose and fit seat models, including wiring in 12V/24V systems
• Use hand and power tools, carry out basic welding and mechanical work
• Read and follow instructions, technical drawings, and job sheets
• Handle freight receipting/dispatch and manage stock levels
• Provide excellent customer service both in person and electronically
• Ensure all workshop tasks are completed safely and on time

What We’re Looking For:

• Solid mechanical aptitude – trade qualifications ideal but not essential
• Experience supervising or mentoring a team
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Able to communicate confidently with clients and team members
• Current driver’s licence and forklift (LF) ticket
• Physically fit and able to pass medical and DAS
• Familiar with safe manual handling and PPE procedures
