Haynes currently have an opportunity for Supervisors to join our valued clients based in Townsville.

Building & Construction Supervisor:

About the role:

• Supervise construction sites and coordiate daily operations
• Planning and developing project scopes
• Establishing and management of project timelines, budgets and resources
• • Determining the materials needed
  • Creating and leading teams on site
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders
• Attending sites to perform inspections and provide quotes for potential projects
• Conduct site inspections and and quality control checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards

About you:

• Trade Qualified - Carpentry
• Hold a current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
• Hold a construction white card or construction blue card
• Proven supervisory experience within the building and construction industry
• Strong leadership, problem solving and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret plans
• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
• Must be able to pass a Pre Employment Medical, Instant Drug & Alcohol Screen and Functional Assessment
• Valid working rights in Australia

Civil Construction Supervisor

About the role:

• Supervise construction sites and coordiate daily operations to deliver projects on time
• Conduct daily pre-starts and manage feedback from the team
• Ensure that activites on site are completed to a high standard
• Liase with management, clients, subcontractors and stakeholders
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Conduct site inspections and enforce safety regulations

About you:

• Relevant experience and qualifiations to operate plant machinery
• Hold a current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
• Hold a construction white card or construction blue card
• Proven supervisory experience within the civil construction industry with crews of various sizes
• Strong computer, leadership, problem solving and communication skills
• Proven experience with reading and interpreting plans
• High level of attention to detail
• Safety first attitude
• Ability to work in various projects within Townsville and surrounding areas (note that when travelling accommodation is provided)
• Must be able to pass a Pre Employment Medical, Instant Drug & Alcohol Screen and Functional Assessment
• Valid working rights in Australia
