Gold Mine Processing Operator

HAYNES is currently seeking experienced Processing Plant Operators to join their client based in the Charters Towers region for ASAP start!

Position Overview:

The Processing Mill Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of gold processing plant equipment. This includes overseeing crushing, grinding, leaching, and recovery processes to ensure optimal gold extraction in line with production targets and safety standards.

On offer for the successful applicant/s:

• 7/7 roster - rotating
• Temp to perm opportunities
• Housing provided whilst on shift if not local to Charters Towers
• $54.75 - $58.35 flat rate per hour dependent on experience
• 12 hours per shift
• BIBO to site from Charters Towers each day on shift
• Supportive Processing Manager and Superintendent

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in mineral processing, preferably in gold operations.

• Familiarity with processing equipment such as crushers, mills, CIL/CIP circuits, thickeners, and gravity recovery systems.

• Competency in operating DCS/SCADA or similar process control systems.

• Valid manual driver’s licence (essential).

• RII Front End Loader (desirable)

• Confined space and working at heights certification (desirable).

• High-risk work licence (forklift, EWP) is an advantage.

• Relevant qualifications in mineral processing or a related trade (preferred but not mandatory).
