Civil Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our clients team in Townsville QLD. In this role, you will lead the design, planning, and execution of civil engineering projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Position Details:

• Monday to Friday with some weekend work
• 38 hours per week
• Casual ongoing position
• Competitive annual salary
• Local work in Townsville QLD

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage civil infrastructure projects including roads, drainage, and earthworks
• Prepare and review technical drawings, reports, and specifications
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with relevant codes and safety standards
• Coordinate with contractors, clients, and other engineering disciplines
• Perform engineering calculations and prepare documentation for approvals.
• Ensure environmental and safety regulations are met

The successful candidates, must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Proven experience in civil engineering roles, with a strong understanding of design and site-based work
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar civil design software
• Solid knowledge of local engineering codes, standards, and regulations
• Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
