We're looking for a motivated and safety-conscious individual to join our team and deliver high-quality paint finishes on large-scale components. As a Spray Painter working in a heavy industry workshop, you will be responsible for surface preparation, priming, and spray painting of heavy equipment, parts, and components to meet high standards of durability and appearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing touch ups, warranty work and full machine sprays on heavy earthmoving equipment.
  • Prepare surfaces - sanding, masking, and priming.
  • Applying high-quality paint finishes to machinery, parts, and equipment.
  • Mix paints and coatings to achieve correct colours and finishes.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
  • Work collaboratively with workshop and service teams to meet deadlines.

Position Details:

  • Monday to Friday roster (4x 8hours & 1x 6hours)
  • Both Day & Afternoon shifts available
  • Day - $53.13 per hour plus penalties
  • Afternoon - $63.75 per hour plus penalties
  • Weekly pay cycle

The successful candidate, must have:

  • Current drivers' licence and reliable transport
  • Trade qualification - Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology
  • Hold a current High-Risk Work Licence - Forklift, Working at Heights or Elevated Work Platform
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Knowledge of painting materials, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret job specifications.
  • Being focused on safety, with a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical including Drug/Alcohol screen
