Grounds Person

Position Requirements:

• C Class Driver's Licence (Manual)
• Construction White Card
• Working with Children Blue Card (or the ability to apply immediately before commencement).
• National Police Check (required if no Blue Card)
• Ability to reverse a trailer
• Comfortable using garden maintenance equipment (mowers, whipper snippers, hedgers, etc.)
• Able to pass a Pre-employment Medical & Drug & Alcohol Screen

Advantageous:

• Cert 3 or above qualifications in Landscaping / Horticulture
• RII certification for chainsaw, hedger, and other equipment use

Key Responsibilities:

• General Garden maintenance: mowing, whipper snipping, hedging, edging Weeding, rubbish removal, and dump runs
• Blowing leaves, raking sandpits, and installing temporary sprinklers
• Ensuring all sites are tidy and well-maintained, with a high standard of presentation
