Join our client and their dynamic team in Archerfield, QLD, as a skilled Boilermaker! In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing earthmoving equipment, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Fabricate, weld, and repair heavy equipment and components, including structural steel and machinery parts.
  • Perform high-quality welding and fabrication using various materials such as steel and alloy.
  • Carry out maintenance and modifications on warehouse equipment to meet operational needs.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient and safe repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety regulations and standards.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard and in a timely manner.

Position Details:

  • Monday to Friday roster
  • Hours; 6am to 2:30pm (Monday-Thursday) & 6am to 12pm (Friday)
  • Day shift only
  • Casual ongoing position
  • $51.13 per hour + penalties

The successful candidate, must have:

  • Current drivers' licence and reliable transport
  • Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent
  • High-Risk Work Licence - Forklift, Working at Height, Elevated Work Platform
  • Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques.
  • Commitment to upholding safety standards and protocols.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical including Drug/Alcohol screen
