Haynes are seeking an experienced Final Trim Grader Operator and Water Cart Operator for various civil construction projects in the Hughenden and Richmond regions.
Position Type: Casual with potential for permanent employment
Duration: 4 months, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate
Key Responsibilities:
Final Trim Grader Operator:
- Operate a grader for final trim work (using GPS Trimble systems) on civil construction projects
- Work on a range of projects
- Ensure high-quality, precise final trim work
- Maintain a strong focus on safety while working on-site
- Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with the team
- Perform labour duties as required to support the crew
Water Cart Operator:
- Operate HC Water Cart (with RII watercart ticket) and perform daily prestart checks
- High level of safety and machinery knowledge
- Attention to detail in machinery operations
- Ability to be physically fit and perform labour when required
- Follow supervisor instructions and operate machinery as part of a team
- Previous experience in water cart operations on civil construction sites
Key Requirements:
- Valid RII Grader Ticket (for Final Trim Grader Operator)
- Extensive experience as a Final Trim Grader Operator
- Expertise in final trim work using GPS Trimble systems
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality work
- Physically fit and able to meet the demands of the role
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions from supervisors
- Previous experience in civil construction is highly regarded
- HC Water Cart operator with RII watercart ticket
- Previous experience in water cart operations on civil construction sites
- High level of safety and machinery knowledge
- Physically fit and able to perform physical labour when required
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors
Roster & Hours:
- Roster: 2/1 Roster (commencement day of roster will be advised upon placement)
- Working Hours: 6:30am to 5:30pm
