Position 1: Diesel Mechanic – Moorvale (7/7 Roster, 6am – 6pm)
Rate: $70/hr Flat Rate
Haynes is looking for a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our valued client on a 7/7 roster, working from Moorvale. This is direct to a permanent role with our client.
Your role will involve:
• Servicing and repairing heavy machinery and mechanical equipment, including road trains.
• Meeting scheduled timelines for all maintenance and repairs.
• Accurately completing relevant paperwork and documentation.
• Providing great customer service and maintaining strong communication with the team.
• Contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
To be considered, you must have:
• A relevant Trade Qualification in Mechanical, Diesel Fitting, or similar.
• Experience working with road trains.
• Ability to pass a PEM and DAS (Physical and Drug & Alcohol Screening).
• A current driver’s license, along with physical fitness for the role.
• CBM and S11 certifications (or willingness to obtain).
Position 2: Town Workshop - (Monday – Friday, 7am – 5pm)
Rate: $60/hr Flat Rate.
Haynes is looking for a qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our valued client in a workshop role located in Mackay.
Your role will involve:
• Servicing and repairing a wide variety of equipment, including light vehicles, diesel engines, earthmoving equipment, trucks, buses, and cranes.
• Working in alignment with schedules to ensure jobs are completed in a timely manner.
• Completing relevant paperwork and documentation with precision and accuracy.
• Providing excellent customer service with strong communication skills.
• Contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.
To be considered, you must have:
• A relevant Trade Qualification in Mechanical, Diesel Fitting, or similar.
• Previous workshop experience across a variety of equipment, including light vehicles, diesel engines, earthmoving equipment, trucks, buses, and cranes.
• Ability to pass a PEM and DAS where required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A commitment to a safe working environment.
