Plumber/Poly Welder

Haynes are seeking 4 qualified Poly Welders for a project at Olympic Dam (SA), with pipe sizes up to 450mm (Butt Welding). This position offers a 10/4 roster with food, accommodation, and flights provided. The role starts ASAP and runs until the end of May 2025.

Key Details:

• Start ASAP until end of May 2025
• Roster: 10/4 (10 days on, 4 days off)
• FIFO from Adelaide (Alternative FIFO destinations may be considered for the right skills)
• Pay: $50-$55 per hour, depending on skill set
• Highly advantageous: Olympic Dam induction
• Must be physical fitness

Position Requirements:

• Trade Qualified Plumber or Trade Qualified Poly Welder
• Must have the below units of competency:

• PMBWELD301E: Join polyethylene plastic pipelines using butt welding
• PMBWELD302E: Join polyethylene plastic pipelines using electrofusion welding

• Construction White Card
• Driver’s Licence
• Able to pass both the PEM (Pre-Employment Medical) and DAS (Drug and Alcohol Screening) prior to commencing work.
• Olympic Dam induction (preferred but not essential)
