Forklift Mechanic

Haynes currently have an opportunity for a Forklift Mechanic to join our valued client based in Mackay.

About the Role:

• Conduct maintenance, service and repairs to existing customers for Forklifts, EWPs and other machinery as per manuals
• Complete training on Hyundai products, Special Tooling, Intranet Portal, Global Portal and simPRO Quotations, Job Management etc.
• Ensure compliance with legislative requirements for high-risk equipment
• Complete reports and documentation accurately
• Perform inspections on machinery, plant and equipment identifying current and potential problems or faults
• Working within a team environment and autonomously
• Local field work and only some workshop based
• Basic understanding of auto electrics

About You:

• Trade Qualification – will consider those with no Forklift/EWP experience eg LV mechanics, Diesel Fitters, etc
• Current Drivers Licence (manual)
• Able to pass PEM and DAS, if required
• HRWL eg Forklift
