Haynes is currently seeking Skilled Manual Machinist for a valued client based in Paget, Mackay

About the Job:

• Monday – Friday (availability for OT on weekends)
• Temporary to Permanent role
• Located in Mackay

Requirements

• Drivers Licence and reliable transport
• Trade Certificate
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and measurements accurately
• CNC experience – Advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and repairs of precision parts, machining and operating computer controlled machines of products associated with mining equipment, construction, plant equipment, etc using manual and lathe machines
• Ability to mill, cut, grind, bore, drill and plane metal materials and castings within tolerance levels
• Able to complete “one-off” jobs and samples based on drawings/sketches
• Produce high-quality work within appropriate timeframes
• Contribute to a safe work environment and follow company policies and procedures
