Haynes are looking for skilled and experienced Civil Machine Operators to join clients team in Mackay for local projects commencing in 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to work close to home while contributing to exciting civil works.

About the Job:

• Work Hours: Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work.
• Location: Local projects within Mackay and surrounding areas
• Commencement: 2025
• Ongoing casual opportunities available.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience operating civil construction machinery.
• Relevant licenses and certifications (e.g., RII competencies, White Card).
• A strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet project deadlines.
• Local candidates are encourages to apply

Responsibilities:

• Operate various civil machinery such as excavators, graders, loaders, dozers, and rollers.
• Conduct daily maintenance checks and ensure equipment is in safe working order.
• Perform tasks related to earthworks, roadworks, and other civil construction activities.
• Follow site safety protocols and contribute to a culture of safety and teamwork.
• Assist with general laboring tasks when required.
