Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the correct products and quantities are accurately received and recorded.
  • Picking and assembling orders.
  • Utilizing machinery and forklifts daily.

Successful Candidate must hold

  • Computer knowledge and use of pronto – advantageous
  • Holds a current forklift licences with proven experience
  • Prior experience within in a manual handling & warehouse role
  • Ability to work in a team environment and holds a sound understanding of safety in the workplace.

Production Operator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing regular maintenance on production equipment to prevent breakdowns.
  • Keeping a close watch on the production process to ensure it runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Running and monitoring machines used in various stages of steel production, such as furnaces, rolling mills, and casting machines.
  • Inspecting raw materials and finished products for defects or inconsistencies.
  • Moving semi-finished and finished steel products within the facility using cranes, forklifts, or other equipment.

Successful Candidate must:

  • Hold a current C Class Drivers Licence + Reliable Transport
  • Physically Fit - able to undertake manual handling.
  • Prior experience with sheet metal folding
  • Holds a current forklift licence with proven experience
  • Prior experience within in warehouse roles
  • Ability to work in a team environment and holds a sound understanding of safety in the workplace.
  • Computer knowledge – advantageous
  • Mechanically minded - advantageous
