About the role

This role requires a highly motived individual to drive health, safety, and environmental initiatives across our operations, ensuring compliance, promoting a strong safety culture, and contributing to our continuous improvement across the organization including Haynes Labour Hire and Pakka Jacks. In this diverse role, you will:

  • Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures and programs in line with company and legislative requirements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessment, safety inspections and audits.
  • Provide guidance and support to management and employees on all HSE-related matters.
  • Deliver engaging HSE training and awareness programs to build a strong safety culture.
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE documentation and reports.

About You:

The successful candidate will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

  • Certificate IV in Health and Safety - or currently studying
  • Return to Work Certificate - highly regarded
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE management systems - Rapid, ASNA, SharePoint, Noggin etc.
  • An understanding and ability to maintain Quality - 9001 quality system
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and engage at all levels.
  • Current drivers licence and reliable transport
