We are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Manager for a valued Client in Moranbah. Within this position, you will be overseeing a team of mechanics, auto electricians and support staff to provide excellent quality and customer service across the fast-paced business.

About the Role

  • Managing day-to-day operations of the mechanical division including leading and developing a high-performing team
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure all mechanical work meets safety and compliance standards
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and products are delivered within timeframes
  • Procurement and inventory of parts and supplies to ensure availability and cost-effectiveness
  • Monday – Friday roster, with the occasional Saturday required
  • Generous salary + plus super + bonuses, with a company vehicle for local use
  • 4 bedroom unfurnished house in Moranbah with pool (electricity, water and property damage to be covered by individual)

About You

  • Trade Qualified (Mechanical), ideally with minimum 10 years post-trade experience
  • Hold a current Drivers Licence
  • Demonstrate strong leadership/management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy
  • Team collaboration skills to support team and new employees
  • Safety conscious with great attention to detail
  • Ability to pass necessary medicals, including Drug & Alcohol testing
  • Valid Rights to Work in Australia
