Final Trim Plant Operator & Civil Labourer

Haynes currently have an opportunity for a Civil Construction Labourer & Final Trim Excavator Operator to work alongside our client located in Chinchilla & Wambo.

Positions Available:

1. Civil Construction Labourer (Wambo Windfarm)
2. Final Trim Excavator Operator (Warrego Highway, Chinchilla)

Duration: 2-4 weeks (depending on project needs)

Civil Construction Labourer

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with general civil construction tasks
• Experience with pipe and culvert installation is highly advantageous

Requirements:

• Local residents only
• Valid Construction White Card
• Driver’s License & reliable transport for commuting
• Must be physically fit and ready for hands-on work

Benefits:

• Competitive pay with penalties for overtime

• Meal allowance for overtime exceeding 1.5 hours

Final Trim Excavator Operator

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators for final trim work
• Proficient in GPS operations using Trimble or Topcon
• Perform site preparation, excavation, and grading tasks
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards

Requirements:

• Relevant excavator operating tickets
• Experience with final trim excavations
• Valid Construction White Card
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team
