Haynes currently have an opportunity for a Plant Operator/Roller Operator

position to work alongside our client located in Grantham. The project will be 4km of shoulder widening works and profiling! This position offers the chance to work Monday to Friday, with travel paid for each day you work.

About the Role:

Plant Operator/Roller Operator

Location: Grantham, QLD
Start Date: Approx. October 30, 2024
Duration: Until approx. January/February 2025 (with potential extension)

• Operate rollers and other machinery for road shoulder widening and profiling tasks.
• Ensure safety and efficiency on-site while adhering to project timelines.
• Collaborate with the team to meet project goals and quality standards.
• Perform various ad-hoc duties as requested

About You:

• Current Drivers Licence & Reliable Transport for Commuting to work
• Construction White Card
• RII Roller ticket and proven experience operating rollers.
• Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks.
• Ability to work quickly and under pressure

Advantageous Skills:

• RII for other machinery/plant.
• HR Driver's Licence.
• Experience with water carts, pipe laying, or concrete labouring.
