Haynes are currently seeking a Mechanical Fitter & Forklift Mechanic for our valued client located in Mackay with a relocation package available for successful non-local residents.

About the Offer

• Monday to Friday roster, with possibility for weekend work
• Immediate start available

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance, service and repairs to existing customers for Forklifts, EWPs and other machinery as per manuals
• Complete training on Hyundai products, Special Tooling, Intranet Portal, Global Portal and simPRO Quotations, Job Management etc.
• Complete reports and documentation accurately
• Perform inspections on machinery, plant and equipment identifying current and potential problems or faults

• Working within a team environment and autonomously
• Role would be both workshop and site based, as required

About You

• Relevant Trade Qualification and current Drivers Licence is essential
• Experience maintaining forklifts is ideal, but not essential
• Current Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical, advantageous
• Have a strong passion for safety in the workplace and ability to complete risk assessments
• Motivated, with a strong work ethic and good attendance
• Physically fit to pass a Pre-Employment Medical + D&A Screening, where required
